Meet the Program Director

James Casanova is the Program Director at The Respiratory Center, Inc. He has over 20 years of clinical experience and 10 years of managerial experience.  As the Principal Respiratory Therapist James' primary areas of concentration include, but are not limited to, knowledge in respiratory care and research interest extending full understanding of patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment manipulation.  James has served on numerous committees and has worked at some of the largest organizations within the state of Florida.  James earned his MBA in Business from Barry University, Andreas School of Business.

James received his BSHSA ('05) in Health Services Administration from Barry University and his MBA ('19) in business from Barry University.

James, who is a seasoned instructor in respiratory science and research at The Respiratory Center, has mastered the art of delivering a clear understanding of respiratory care assessment, diagnosis, and treatment recommendation.

At The Respiratory Center, we strive to interpret patient assessment, oxygen therapy, humidity and aerosol, airway management, RC special procedures, basic and advance CPR, lung inflation therapy, bronchial hygiene drainage, cardiac monitoring, ABG application, mechanical ventilation, respiratory disorders, neo and pedi care, respiratory medication, PFT, home care, and respiratory equipment.
