The task of patient assessment is sometimes misinterpreted and appears to confuse the simple process of determining the problem/ diagnosis the patient is experiencing. The first step in assessing the patient's problem is to review the external body features for abnormalities and then review the diagnostic results which will lead the practitioner to a medical conclusion.
